dropDownCoffee Rehabilitation Loan

WPS in partnership with the government brings to its members, through the Coffee Development fund, The Coffee Rehabilitation Loan This is a medium term credit facility provided by the Coffee Development Fund (Codf) to the coffee growers through Intermediaries or directly for the purpose of rehabilitating coffee trees. The facility is aimed at the trees with productivity of at least 1.0 Kg of cherry per annum; where improved production requires relatively more effort in terms of crop husbandry.

The Society has eleven Committee Members that guide and govern the management of the Sacco. It comprises of highly competent Members with diverse set of skills and experience drawn from many business and economic sectors. They are as below;

He is a businessman, a farmer and has a wide experience in the Management of board meetings. He has served as a Chairman in many successful boards .

 Fidelis

Mr.Job Fidelis Ndarera

Position : Vice-chairman,

Experience
He is an employee of KTDA, a farmer and he has served in various Bassi boards. Formerly served as a Committee member for four years in WPS.
Agata

Mr.Zedekiah Agata

Position : Honarable Secretary,

Experience
He has served in various boards including Sony Sugar Co., Kenya Seed Co., among others. For the last four years he served as both a member and a secretary in the supervisory committee.

Ayako

Mr.Isaac Nathan Ayako

Position - Treasurer

Experience
Ayako is a retired Senior Civil Servant. He has four years experience in the management of Wakenya Pamoja Sacco Society Limited as a Treasurer.

Mr.Alfred Mainga

Position- Committee Member

Expertise
Formerly worked with Kisii Farmers Co-operative Union. He has a wide experience in Co-operative management and served as a wps' board member in the previous Management committee for four years.

Mr.Francis Ayieko Okechi

Position- Committee Member

Expertise
He is a Retired Senior Chief. He has served as the Vice chairman and as a Committee member in Wakenya Pamoja Sacco Society Ltd (WPS).

A retired teacher and formerly served as
Supervisory Chairman and a member in WPS.
