Coffee Rehabilitation Loan
WPS in partnership with the government brings to its members, through the Coffee Development fund, The Coffee Rehabilitation Loan
This is a medium term credit facility provided by the Coffee Development Fund (Codf) to the coffee growers through Intermediaries or directly for the purpose of rehabilitating coffee trees. The facility is aimed at the trees with productivity of at least 1.0 Kg of cherry per annum; where improved production requires relatively more effort in terms of crop husbandry.

1. MoneyGram
MoneyGram is an international money transfer service that enables customers send and receive money internationally. WPS in partnership with Co-operative Bank now offers this service in the following branches: Kisii,Keroka, Kebirigo, Ogembo and Tabaka.The service which is available in 165 countries worldwide covers 65,000 outlets including the Sacco.
Currently, the Society only facilitates for receipts only. However, t he service is open to both members and non-members.
It takes a maximum of 5 minutes to receive the cash sent and is relatively cheaper compared to other outlets.
WPS endeavours to provide you with fast, efficient and effectiveservices i.e. there are no long queues and we take our time to ensure that the customer is satisfied.

2. Mpesa services
M-Pesa is a money transfer service offered by Safaricom that enable you to transfer money using your mobile phone. WPS has partnered with Safaricom in the form of an Agent to provide this services to all our members and/or customers.
The M-Pesa Section at WPS was officiall launched by the Co-operative Development and Marketing Minister, Joseph Nyagah, who was accompanied by the Kenya Rural Savings and Credit Societies Union(KERUSSU) Executive Officer, Mercy Njeru among other officials at the WPS' Tabaka Pay Point.
Our M-Pesa are well trained to ensure that they provide, fast, effective and efficient service. We have also put in place channels to ensure that customers and/or members not satisfied with the service given can make official complaints that will be looked into.

3. Sacco Voucher
This is a form of a cheque book issued to our members to enable them make payments to others. For example a business person who is our member, is issued with the Sacco Voucher book and can use it to make payments to his/her suppliers.
Payments on the Sacco Voucher can only be made by the Society i.e. WPS.
4. Cash Mobile Services
To bring its services closer to the people, WPS conducts over 300 mobile paypoints. In this sense, WPS goes out to different stations, to make cash payments to their members. This makes it convinient for members, in the rural areas, that find it difficult to travel to the branches closest to them to receive payments.
